Photographers frequently get asked questions revolving around equipment with the insinuation that it’s the equipment that makes the finished product. This isn’t always the case. The highest end camera by itself is still only a tool; only a part of what goes into making a photograph.
The best camera a photographer can have is the one that is always around. In the past few years we’ve seen an explosion in cellphone photography. Leading to the creation of photo-based applications for phones, whole websites dedicated to sharing cellphone only images, and plenty of publications filled to the brim of amazing photographs taken with something small enough to fit in a pocket.
Photography is an amazing thing; only limited to one’s creativity and knowledge of the tools available. You can make beautiful images with any camera.
I’ve shared some of my favorite images that I’ve taken with my phone above.
